Overview: “I’m a teenage ex-suburbanite living in the heart of Las Vegas. I spend my time immersing myself in inspiration- reading magazines, flicking through my mom’s old polaroids, watching iconic films from outdated eras and conversing with creative thinkers as often as I can. “

1. Describe your style in 5 words or less: Amalgam of goth, grunge, mod, and bohemian.
2. Who/what are your greatest style influences? Stevie Nicks, Elaine Benes, Fairuza Balk, Scary Spice, s Club 7, and Penny Lane! I also love the aesthetics of Twiggy, Brigitte Bardot, and Anna Karina, but they speak to me more in terms of beauty than fashion.
3. What are your wardrobe necessities? A fitted black blazer for sophisticated occasions, a leather jacket, a black bandage dress with gothic accents like lace and crochet, black skinny jeans (bonus points for pockets with studs and zippers), platform heels, lace socks, a gauzy veiled hat, sheer scarf, and fistful of metallic necklaces.
4. Whose closet would you want to raid? Taylor Momsen. She probably has a fabulous choker necklace collection. I’d also like to inherit Baby Spice’s vintage hand-me-downs.
5. Favorite accessories: Sheer veils, fishnet hats, fringe scarves, leather belts, and circle frame sunglasses!
6. Where do you shop? Savers and Buffalo Exchange, almost exclusively. I can’t stand the thought of wearing an article of clothing that hundreds of thousands of people likewise own. I wasted too many years contenting myself in being a wallflower, now I’m milking the benefits of making a statement for all they’re worth. YES to one-of-a-kind platform combat boots and NO to Forever 21′s floral print Oxfords. Life’s too short not to be loud!!

7. Who’s your best shopping partner? My sister. She understands my artistic vision and doesn’t put a damper on my desire to scheme out a theme with snarky remarks like “I don’t get it.” She also has a nack for pulling together great beatnik ensembles, quite like Audrey Hepburn.
8. Favorite trend of all time: PLATFORMS. How many times have I already mentioned my adoration of platform shoes? Bigger will forever be better, unless we’re on the topic of blue jeans. I hope maximalism sticks around for a few more seasons. The moment it dares flee the fashion scene, I’ll start my own line of clothing and drag it back in!
9. Fashion trend you hate: The entire cliche of looking like a cutesy Zooey Deschanel clone. Your mary jane flats and floral tights put me to sleep! Slap on some black lipstick and call me when you’ve grown out of your indie existentialism.
10. style over comfort? Or comfort over style? STYLE!!!!!!!!!!! The concept of compensating aesthetics for practicality makes my skin crawl. My blisters can heal when I’m dead.
11. I’d rather be dead than be caught wearing.. Gladiator sandals.
12. Ultimate shopping advice: If you hesitate before bringing it to the cash register, don’t even think about touching your wallet. Only purchase pieces you’re absolutely in love with to remain financially responsible.
