Overview: “I’m a writer and photographer who lives out in the gorgeous Swedish countryside with the love of my life and our two Siberian cats. I spend my free time singing, playing the guitar and the piano (although I’m no good at either!), drooling over pretty shoes, watching Glee, reading novels and watching movies (my favorite right now is Blue Valentine, everyone should see it).”

1. Describe your style in 5 words or less: “Playful, exploring, ambitious, erratic and evolving!”
2. Who/what are your greatest style influences? “I have to say I get most of my style inspiration from other bloggers. I could sit on Lookbook and Chictopia for hours, just browsing through all of the immense creativity and talent displayed on there! I also love watching old photographs and movies from past decades for inspiration. The tv-show “My So-Called Life” from the early 90′s was such an inspiration to me back when it was first aired, and I still think it’s the best series ever made.”
3. What are your wardrobe necessities? “I couldn’t live without staples of sheer t-shirts, denim and satin shorts, blazers and black army boots. Oh, and my four pairs of Jeffrey Campbell litas, obviously. And I do have an incredible amount of cute socks… I wear socks with everything!”
4. Whose closet would you want to raid? “That’s easy – Alexa Chung’s! I would wear every single one of her items. Wouldn’t be too bad to get to go through the wardrobes of Zooey Deschanel or the Gossip Girl-cast either… But in real life, the only closets I get to raid are my mom’s and my boyfriend’s, haha! Every time I go to see my parents I can’t help but sneak into my mom’s wardrobe and go through all of her old stuff from the 80′s and 90′s.”
5. Favorite accessories: “Thin leather belts, they make almost every outfit look better. When it comes to jewellery, the only thing I wear is my half of a “best friends forever”-heart necklace. Since I first put it on, I’ve never taken it off and I never ever will. My best friend in the whole world has the other half. I lost her to cancer the 21st of September last year and I don’t know if she’s able to wear it where she is now, but I hope so. I really do.”
6. Where do you shop? “I love spending time (and money!) in thrift shops and vintage stores, but we don’t have any of those where I live, so I have to take the chance every time I go into a city. Shoes I mostly shop online, usually at Solestruck.com or Idontlikemondays.us. My favorite Swedish store is definitely Monki, their clothes are very much my style!”

7. Who’s your best shopping partner? “My wallet?
I always shop alone, noone else has the patient to come with me – I can easily spend three hours in a dressing room! But I do love to shop with my baby sisters, even though I usually end up just buying things for them…
”
8. Favorite trend of all time: “Of all time? Oh my gosh, my opinion changes every week! But okay, I’ll say the French 1960′s look never, ever goes out of style.”
9. Fashion trend you hate: “It’s all about the person wearing it. If she has great style and loves what she’s wearing, I’ll probably think even the most hideous trend looks, if not awesome, so at least acceptable.”
10. style over comfort? Or comfort over style? “This is a very good question, and one I spend a lot of time trying to answer for myself! I’m a bit lazy, so my spontaneous answer would be “comfort over style” – but I try to challenge myself and dress up a lot more often. Let’s say it like this: comfort over style when I’m home by myself, style over comfort when I go out in public!”
11. I’d rather be dead than be caught wearing.. “Like I said, I think that with confidence you can pull anything off! But I wouldn’t be completely comfortable being caught wearing nothing but a pair of socks and trainers again… Yes, I have worn that once! I was out in a cabin WAY off in the woods in the very north of Sweden, and I went jogging one morning, buck-naked, with only tube socks and running shoes. Just because I could! It wasn’t worth it, though – too many goddamn mosquitos.”
12. Ultimate shopping advice: “What I do is that I save up for months, then I go into town and I just allow myself to go crazy and buy every single thing that I fancy! Then I don’t have to get that feeling of “aaaw, I wish I’d gotten that, and that, and that… If I only had the money…”. Plus, I then have so many new items that for weeks, every day feels like Christmas! (Obviously this only works at cheap clothing stores, haha!)”
